Since joining the firm in 2002, Wesley Hill has quickly established a successful practice in patent, oil & gas, business, and federal criminal defense litigation. A former briefing attorney for the Honorable T. John Ward, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, Wesley has appeared before numerous state and federal courts, handling cases from filing through jury trial or settlement. Wesley graduated second in his law school class at Texas Tech University (J.D. 2001), received the Texas Young Lawyers Association State Moot Court Best Advocate Award, and finished fourth best advocate at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. A native East Texan, Wesley is also a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler (B.A. 1998).
