Deborah Race has handled a wide variety of appeals and original proceedings as lead counsel in various Texas appellate courts, the Texas Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. These appeals have ranged in subject from complex oil and gas litigation to family law disputes. As a result of having an appellate counsel presence in our firm, we are able to provide protection of the record and preservation of error during the trial stage in anticipation of an appeal on our own original cases or outside cases initially handled by other firms.
